Elmwood Recognizes Trimline Design as the First Winner of the #ExperienceElmwood Contest!

DEALER HIGHLIGHT

The Elmwood Experience: a designer perspective

It’s fitting that Trimline Design Center was our first winner of the #ExperienceElmwood contest, which invites designers to share project images—along with their experience with Elmwood on social media channels.

The family-owned operation that’s been creating bath, kitchen, and other spaces for more than 50 years, has had a lengthy partnership with Elmwood. We took the opportunity of the win to pose a few questions to Nancy Collins, whose father Lester Collins founded Trimline in 1964, and who joined the family business in 1984.

What’s the secret to the company’s longevity?
It lies with the business values my dad instilled in me—working hard at something you love, the importance of customer satisfaction, and the pride you get from doing it all with integrity.

Why has Elmwood cabinetry become an important business partner?
There’s no shortage of talent in the cabinetry industry—particularly in manufacturing. So, you choose a company that is going to be part of your team. You need a team member who will deliver. Elmwood delivers. They keep Trimline on the pulse of the industry and are always on point with trends. There’s such a wide variety of door styles and finishes. So whether we’re planning cabinetry for a kitchen or bath, we know we can equip it. We really value the relationship.
